All Roof Assured approved installers have passed the Sika Sarnafil rigorous, residential training programme held at the Sika single ply membrane Training Academy in Welwyn Garden City so that customers can be 100% confident that their new flat roof is installed professionally with the best possible technical knowledge.
The approved installer certification scheme means that installers have their cards renewed every two years. Sarnafil field technicians accompany new installers on their initial projects offering them support and advice and then spot checks are made regularly.
The Sarnafil products are only available to registered installers and can’t be bought anywhere else or through any commercial outlets. They can also only be installed by a Roof Assured approved installer.
Installers always have the support of the very experienced and knowledgeable Sarnafil field technicians who are working on commercial and domestic projects every day. Customers are often reassured by the fact that the same level of expertise and knowledge is available to them and their flat roof project, as would be on a multi million pound, Sarnafil single ply membrane commercial project.
All training is CITB accredited, applications staff hold a valid NVQ in applied waterproof membranes, all are Member of the Institute of Roofing and most technicians are full qualified assessors for NVQ in Applied Waterproof Membranes. All training follows a pre-qualified agenda and consists of four days of classroom and workshop training with practical and written tests on the final day.
As well as Roof Assured approval many installers have also gained additional qualifications, accreditations and memberships such as the Institute of Roofing Diploma, Competent Roofer, TrustMark and Worksafe.
Roof Assured installers come from a variety of businesses, including national glazing suppliers, existing roofing contractors and home improvement companies. This means that they are experts on domestic projects whether it is a small garage flat roof installation to a large self build project. No project is too large or too small and each is given the same amount of care.
