Ewart Grove – Lead grey single ply membrane installed on a high profile luxury residential development in London. The project required a high-performance roof with a striking aesthetic result to match the contemporary luxury flats inside.
Walkie Talkie building – A single ply membrane provided the perfect solution for this high spec design for retail space and offices, thanks to its excellent flexibility and weldabilty, while offering outstanding resistance to weathering, including permanent UV irradiation.
The Arsenal Emirates Stadium – An exceptional level of detailing was required due to the complex exoskeletal steel framework, with the superior aesthetics of the finish a key factor; a single ply membrane was specified for the flexibility of the product, in terms of colour, detailing, and guarantee options.
‘Lego Building’, Reading University – The building’s original asphalt roof had reached the end of its life and refurbishment was needed to bring the building in line with current regulations. The single ply membrane installation made the roof fully waterproof and looking at its best.
The Serpentine – The £11.6 million scheme consisted an affordable and sustainable housing development, comprising 94 terraced houses and apartment blocks forming a continuous curved building. The building called for the flexible roofing solution to meet the challenging design.
Terry’s Chocolate Factory – The Chocolate Works in York is the former head office of Terry’s Chocolate Factory. The Grade II listed building is now a care home with all flat areas benefitting from a roofing system to help protect this historic landmark.
Purbeck Crematorium – A new private crematorium built in woodland at Lytchett Minster, Dorset – the first to open in the country for more than 20 years. The green roof was installed on a Sika Trocal warm roof system by Volsen Ltd.
